When we look into the future, one thing that has become clear in education across the board is that cooperation, time management, resiliency, grit, optimism--these are the things that are going to make for successful young people.
In 1926, forty-five boys dressed in orange and black sweaters arrived for their first day at The Greenwich Country Day School. Today, GCDS is the largest independent elementary and middle school in the country and a leader in the field of education.
We have inherited excellence, and I believe it is our responsibility to leave GCDS even stronger for the next generation. Preparing students to build the future will take all of us. Whether you are looking for a great school for your child, an opportunity for professional growth, ways to be involved as a current Country Day parent, or a chance to stay connected as an alum, I hope you will join us on campus and experience our program firsthand.
