Reunions are a wonderful time for alumni to come together and reconnect with the school, former teachers, and one another. Each alumni class celebrates reunion every five years during Alumni Reunion and Homecoming Weekend held in the fall (this year’s event  has been postponed to Spring 2021). With support from the Alumni Office, volunteers rally their friends back to campus, assist in the planning of the reunion activities, and as comfortable, ask classmates to make a gift to GCDS in honor of reunion.

The Alumni Advisory Council is our leadership body of the alumni community.  The Council is dedicated to shaping an alumni program that is effective, meaningful and supportive.  This group supports the development of alumni communications, events, resources, and fundraising efforts.  The Council is led by our Chair, Taylor Glasebrook ‘97, and Jordan Sanders ‘01, Vice Chair, and supported by a dynamic group of alums across classes.

Members are nominated by their peers and recommended to the Council by the Nominating Committee.  The AAC requires a regular commitment of time - for in person meetings and event attendance - and a commitment to building awareness and engagement within your GCDS community.  If you are interested in learning more about the AAC and the nominating process, please contact
