GCDS FIRST The Campaign for Tradition and Innovation

INVESTMENT: CENTER FOR PUBLIC GOOD

Service to others has been core to a Greenwich Country Day School education since the school's founding. In 2019, the GCDS Center for Public Good was established to secure and strengthen one of GCDS's most cherished traditions.

This investment in GCDS's Center for Public Good will support civic engagement and service learning for students, faculty, staff, families, and alumni by funding CPG grants, providing supplies for all service projects, supporting service trips, and enabling CPG to bring inspiring speakers to campus. Together these efforts prepare GCDS students to become compassionate global citizens who strive to make the world a better place.

"It's a unique moment to engage our students with greater opportunities, both near and far–weaving service into all aspects of student life and ensuring that our students learn their power to affect change. We will bring the GCDS community to work toward creating a more equitable and just world."- JEN DONNALLEY
