Planned Giving

When you include GCDS as a beneficiary of your estate plan through a bequest, charitable trust, retirement plan or insurance policy, you become part of a community of forward-looking philanthropists. By doing this, you can make a significant gift to GCDS to assure its future – while also possibly providing tax benefits for yourself and your family. Unless you designate otherwise, all planned gifts will be added to the school’s board-designated endowment, when received, to ensure that your gift supports the School in perpetuity.

By making a planned gift, you are invited to join The 1926 Society. The 1926 Society was established in 2001 to honor parents, alumni and friends who choose to provide for the future of the School by including GCDS in their estate plans.

If you have already named GCDS in your estate plans, please let us know. We would be honored to welcome you into the 1926 Society and make sure we understand how you would ultimately like your gift to be used.
