Important Information about End of the Year Gifts to GCDS
Many thanks to all who have given to the 2025-2026 Annual Fund. For those who are making plans to give to Greenwich Country Day School before the end of the calendar year 2025, below is information that should make it easier to do so.
GCDS will be physically closed December 22 - January 2, 2026. We will be reachable via email: [email protected].
To ensure that your gift will be processed to meet the 2025 IRS tax-year deadlines, please see the information below.
Credit card gifts made online should be completed before midnight Dec. 31 (based on the time zone in which the gift is made), to qualify as tax deductible contributions in 2025. To make your gift online, go to https://www.gcds.net/support-gcds/give-online.
To ensure the security of your information, please do not include your credit card information in any email communication.
If you mail a check, the envelope must be postmarked by Dec. 31 to qualify as a tax deductible contribution for 2025. Please make your check payable to “GCDS” and include a note or gift slip indicating how you want your gift designated and mail it to:

Gifts by stock can be made into our Fidelity Investments brokerage account by electronic transfer. Shares must be transferred into the account before 4 p.m. E.S.T. on Dec. 29.
Gifts of cash must be received via cash wire transfer into the GCDS Israel Discount Bank account by 4 p.m. E.S.T. on Dec. 29, 2025. Please email [email protected] for more information.
