Dear GCDS Community,
Our newly formed high school athletics program has already surpassed our wildest expectations. This is only year two with a varsity program and with last year's play curtailed by health and safety restrictions due to the pandemic, this is our first year of competing at the varsity level. Our varsity teams have already made six postseason tournaments, boys varsity basketball made it to the FAA Final 4, and nine student athletes from our fall and winter teams made All League First or Second Team.
Not only is our girls varsity lacrosse team just in year two of playing as a team, with only one senior on the squad, they are also a young team. Knowing this makes their first win as FAA Regular Season Champions that much sweeter! Enjoy this Headlines video celebrating their tremendous accomplishment!
