Greenwich Country Day School's boys varsity soccer team claimed the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) Championship for the second consecutive year, defeating Greens Farms Academy 4-0 in the finals on Nov. 8. The Tigers completed an undefeated FAA season and captured their third championship in the last four years.

The victory marks GCDS's fourth consecutive appearance in the FAA final, with championships in 2022, 2024, and 2025.

Senior captains Devin Kellan '26 and Dylan Ever '26 concluded their GCDS careers by joining the prestigious 100-point club in soccer, cementing their legacy as two of the program's most accomplished players.

"We rode the storm early on," said Head Coach Alan Marsh. "GFA is a strong team and caused us some problems in the first 30 minutes, but we defended well."

The match turned decisively in the final 15 minutes of the first half when the Tigers found their rhythm. "Everything clicked for us and we scored three really good team goals that effectively killed off the game," the coach noted. "The third, right before halftime, was the game clincher."

GCDS controlled the second half with composed, tactical play, never allowing GFA back into contention.

"Retaining the championship in our fourth final in a row is an achievement that we are extremely proud of,” said Coach Marsh.
